Both of them are so scared and fascinated at the same time. How could it just happen without them knowing? 

They have no information about themselves. They only thing they know is that they were once dating and now they are not. They have no choice but to stick together in order to figure out what was happening before this mystery happened. Their friends thought they were a bit off but that seems less important than the reason of why nothing rings the bell. Nothing is familiar but Charlie for Silas, and Silas for Charlie.

What a cliffhanger ending! The authors really know how to tease their readers. I like Silas in present. But I still can't decide if I like him in his past too. Although he can't remember anything, but his love for Charlie just stay there and vice versa. This book is a great one. I never read anything like this before, and the idea was so fresh. I didn't surprise when I can't put it down even just a second because it was that good.

Sky's life is a complete mess.

I've come to the point that I don't even know how to start writing the review because her past and present's life is so complicated. Not only Sky's but her mother's, Holder's and everyone's. As a teenager, making friends with lots of people will give you benefits to shine. But for some people who only make friends to one or two persons, most of them are usually get bullied, verbally attacked, etc. Sky is used to be home-schooled and now she get the chance to study at public school. But things don't work out really well for her. Being Six's best friend give her a bad reputation but she doesn't care at all. Only a few know and understand her while the others are busy judging what they thought they know. 

"You have to let it go. You can hold on to the hate and the love and even the bitterness, but you have to let go of the blame. The blame is what's tearing you down, babe."

This story isn't simply just tell us about love between two young people. It is much more than that. It has deep meaning and involves every themes that we could think about such as bullying, friendship, truth and lies, rape, etc. I think the author has done a very good job. I'd never think about this plot and the mystery isn't very easy to guess. Since the beginning, the author has made us curious about who is the guy Sky met at the grocery store? , why Sky's mother Karen won't allow her to have phone and using internet?, etc.

I really love the chemistry between Sky and Holder that have developed since their first meeting. Although I can guarantee that a man like Holder is one in a million and maybe only exist in romance novels, but I really like how he loves Sky so much and would do everything to win her heart. Same goes to Sky who kind of have a bad thought of him at first but then fall in love with him for all that he has done for her.

"Because I want your first kiss to be the best first kiss in the history of first kisses."
"Fuck all the firsts, Sky. The only thing that matters to me with you are the forevers."

Points that I get :

1. When a man likes you, he will make an effort to get to know you better.

2. If he likes you enough, your differences won't matter to him.

3. Dimples can be so intriguing. You will never know until you meet the one.  

You're in love when :

1. You have butterflies in your stomach whenever you met him. 

2. You spent so many times just to pick clothes to wear before you meet him. Normally it only takes 5 - 10 min to dress up but now it takes much longer to decide what to wear. 

3. You can't stop wondering what he/she is probably thinking of you.

About the friendship between Six and Sky and Sky with Breckin, tell you what? At first I'm so jealous of Sky for having friends like them. Not only because they are incredibly awesome friends who support you in every conditions, but also because they're giving e-reader and a phone to Sky! Like it's a normal present to give to your bestie. Some parts in this novel are too good to be true like Holder, and best friends like Six and Breckin.

Tak pernah terpikir bahwa ia akan bekerja dengan Jodik, orang yang selama ini mengurus design rumahnya. Tita harus bertahan kerja dengan Jodik yang jutek, Jodik yang cuek dan pedes banget kalau ngomong.

 Kat and her mother just moved from Florida to Virginia. They decided to move since Florida just left them with a hurtful memory. Kat's Dad died of cancer and thereafter nothing's the same anymore. Kat's mother started working more and more but then she finally decided they need a fresh start.

Ever since they moved, Kat has nothing to do except blogging. Then her mother asked her to befriend with two kids about Kat's age next door. Not want to let her mom down, she went to their house. And the impression of the guy next door is just so hillarious. Kat couldn't help staring at his naked chest and anything that you probably want to read it by yourself. Her head warned her to keep steady but her voice betrayed her XD

The guy next door's name is Daemon. At first I wondered why his name isn't Damon just like 'Damon' on Vampire Diaries, even my friends were questioned it and mistook it as Damon VD. But it doesn't matter at all because both men are so hawt :D

Well back to the book, Daemon is kinda pissed off with Kat for no reason, but Daemon's twin sister shows the opposite attraction to her. Dee likes Kat as soon as she saw her and she intends to be a close friend with Kat. Dee has a trick for her brother to get close with Kat, but of course, either Kat or Daemon dislike the idea of spending time together.

When Kat hang around with Dee and Daemon, somehow she can tell that something isn't right. Sometimes the weather and cloud can just instantly changed into lightning and storms, and in a blink of an eye, the cloud has become normal back. And how come a guy no matter how hot he is could dive under the water like ten minutes or so?

The suspicion grow stronger the night Kat was attacked by stranger who asked her,'Where they are?', 'You are a trace.' and something like that. Kat was freaked out and the stranger was no kidding in hitting and kicking her. When she thought that night was the last night for her before she died, Daemon came and took control. She was rushed to the hospital, did dozen of X-rays but thankfully she could go home that night. She believed she would have a bad hit on her face and body but when she woke up on the next day, she barely has bruises anymore. Weird.

Who are they? or the exact question is 'What are they?' Not to mention there are bunch of kids and adults like Dee and Daemon around the town. What are they capable of? and Who was the attacker?

When I read the first chapter, I immediately love this book. I love the never-end-conversation between Daemon and Kat, they always find something to argue and when they started to throw bomb to each other, no one can stop them. I just admired the love and hate relationship between them, and it grows stronger day to day.

 "I think it would be best if you'd stay away from me."

"No can do."

"Any of the other Luxen can watch over me or whatever," "It doesn't have to be you."

"You're my responsibility."

"I am nothing to you."

"You are definitely something."

"I dislike you so very much."

"No. You don't."

And Kat's character is no way the same like the other heroine, she's so brave and so unique, and she also has the ability to control herself whenever Daemon was around. I instanly like Kat when I knew that she's a book blogger just like me =D

I highly recommend this book to everyone who loves to read Young Adult, Urban Fantasy, and Paranormal Romance. You guys are going to love this book as much as I do. \mm/

Saya paling benci rasialisme! Karena dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, rasialisme itu hampir selalu bersentuhan dengan saya! Sedari kecil, saya selalu dipanggil dengan olok-olok : Cina! Lingkungan pribumi membuat gap untuk saya. Sebaliknya, jujur saja, warga keturunan Cina pun membatasi diri untuk berbaur. Tapi saya memilih diam dan pergi. Mereka yang memanggil saya atau siapapun 'amoy' atau 'Cina' atau kata-kata yang merujuk pada rasialisme itu adalah orang-orang yang tidak mengenal perbedaan. Mereka bukan hanya tidak mengenal tapi juga tidak menghargai adanya perbedaan. Padahal dalam hidup ini kita tidak akan bisa menghindari yang namanya perbedaan. Jadi kenapa tidak lebih menghargai perbedaan tsb daripada mencemoohnya? :)

Reinkarnasi adalah buku pertama alm.Lan Fang yang kubaca sekaligus buku pertamanya yang kupunya :) Beruntung aku masih bisa menemukan buku ini diantara timbunan buku-buku lainnya yang diobral di salah satu toko buku di Medan. Harus kehilangan penulis berbakat seperti Lan Fang adalah pukulan yang berat bagi dunia penulisan Indonesia, semoga semakin kemari semakin banyak lahir penulis-penulis berbakat Indonesia lainnya.

This is the second book of Immortal series. Well, I can't lie to myself and say that his book is awesome, I just can tell that this book is fine. However, I did enjoy reading it. At some point, I keep wondering of why Evie is so crazy about Sebastian. We don't fall in love with ghost, do we? Sebastian isn't a ghost who died last summer. He's been dead for centuries. He's a very old creature. Yet Evie who had fallen in love with him since the book one, always looking for him like every night and forget the risk of being found by teachers there. Love is blind or love is such a fool? Who knows? :)


This time when Evie came back to Wyldcliffe Abbey School, Sebastian wasn't there anymore. He didn't show up no matter how many times she called his name. It leads to the fact that Sebastian was actually dying and helpless. Evie wanted to help him so bad. And lucky her, she has two bestfriends, Sarah and Helen to help her to find a cure to Sebastian. Unlike the other students, Evie and her sisters knew very well about their powers. But their journey don't go smoothly because The Dark Sisters always keep an eye on them.
