Lola and the Boy Next Door tells about a seventeen years old girl named Lola who is dating with a twenty-two man named Max. They're fallin in love with each other and Lola is trying to find a way for their relationship since her gay dads don't really like her twenty-two-years-old-boyfriend. and yes, she has two dads, Andy and Nathan, and they are gay. She has her own mother and father actually, but y know, they made sex in a young age and her mom got pregnant, and tadaaaa, she prevented an abortion but still she doesn't have any courage to raise her baby. so she left Lola with her brother,Nathan while she works and being a fortune-teller.
Lola is an awesome girl who doesn't believe in fashion but costumes. so she tries not to be same everydays, she wears wig, a unique costumes like everyday, and Max like it. But how far will he like it? kekeke. u gotta read it!
she has a boy she liked since childhood who has grown as a handsome man now. His name is Cricket Bell and he has a twin sister named Calliope who dislike Lola and think Lola has took her brother's attention from her. So she did everything to separate them even since they were kids. and since Calliope is a figure skating, they have to move to one town to another town. and that means Cricket is gone for good. After so many torturing years for Lola, they finally come back.
Does Lola still have feelings for Cricket? and is it work both ways?
If they still love each other, how about Max? Will Calliope just let them both together?
